Bill Pohl's Bio

My first guitar was a live wolverine. After trying to play it a couple times I
asked my mom and dad for a better guitar...and a new set of hands. And face. At this point I was presented with the same wolverine, but with a pointy birthday hat strapped to his head. I didn't recognize him at first and immediately started to
play my versions of the Kiss and Zeppelin songs I liked so much at the time on his formidable and apparently empty and easily aggitaged belly. The only thing that saved me was the angry Harpie Eagle that swooped down at that moment and bore me away unto its lofty eyrie where we fought for three days and nights. Having no face or even arms and legs at this point, thanks to my guitar, my fighting technique consisted of no more than hurtling my young and wee torso at the combatant raptor until he was tuckered out. Plum tuckered out. Yep. I easily slew my foe at this point and did
feast on his flesh. Luckily, Harpie meat has great regenerative powers when eaten, and before long I had my limbs and face back. I returned home where my folks gave me a nice Gibson Les Paul and said, "We just wanted to see if you were
serious before we gave you a NICE guitar."
